DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A University of North Texas exchange student was among those killed in Friday's Paris attacks, the university confirmed Sunday.

"UNT-International remembers François Xavier Prévost," the school said in a Facebook post.

The university said Prévost was an exchange student at the Denton campus in the fall of 2007 and died in the attack at the Bataclan Theater.

"Our condolences go to his friends and family, and to all victims of terrorism everywhere," the school said.

The Paris attacks left at least 129 people dead and hundreds more injured, many of them critically.
