Two-Year-Old Drowns In Backyard Pool In Parker County

WEATHERFORD (CBSDFW.COM) - A two-year-old boy drowned in a backyard pool around 6:30p.m. Monday evening.

The Parker County Sheriff's Department says it happened at a home in Western Lakes Estates off Pioneer Trail in the southern part of the county.

Firefighters performed CPR at the scene and an ambulance rushed the child to the hospital where he was pronounced dead soon after arriving.
