DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- A man and a woman were killed late Sunday night after one of two motorcycles lost control and crashed while racing in east Dallas.

The crash happened just after 10:45 p.m. along the I-30 service road between St. Francis Avenue and Jim Miller Road.

Sheriff's deputies say that one of the motorcycles lost control in a curve and hit a TxDOT camera signal cabin on the shoulder. The Dallas County Medical Examiner was called to the scene.

The names of the deceased individuals have not been released.

The driver of the second motorcycle was detained for questioning, though it's not clear if he will face charges.
