Mother, Daughter Found Dead In Hunt County Home; Suspect Arrested

UPDATE: Suspect Tyrone Jamaal Williams was taken into custody Friday after the Commerce Police Department responded to a call at approximately 11:00p.m. regarding a suspicious person.

Williams was transported to Hunt County Jail.

The agencies involved in the suspect's arrest included the Hunt County Sheriff's Office, Commerce Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Rangers.

The victims were identified as 27-year-old Nichole Elizabeth Gonzales and 51-year-old Vicki Ann Gonzales.

HUNT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - The Hunt County Sheriff confirms two people were found dead inside a home Friday afternoon.

The sheriff says this is a double homicide and the suspect, Tyrone Jamaal Williams, 30, is the estranged boyfriend of the daughter.

A capital murder warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Sheriff Randy Meeks tells CBS11, the department got a 911 call and people could be heard screaming.

When deputies arrived at the home off Highway 50 in Commerce, they found the bodies of a mother and daughter inside the home along with two children who were unharmed.

The children are in Child Protective Services custody.

Williams is said to have abandoned his car about three miles from the scene.

Williams is employed as a long haul trucker, last known employer being in Fort Worth, according to authorities.
