Fort Worth double shooting turns deadly

FORT WORTH- A Monday evening shooting in Fort Worth is now the city's latest murder investigation.

Emergency officials told CBS News Texas two people got critically wounded in a shooting in Northwest Fort Worth.

The emergency response call came in after 5:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Northwest 16th Street.

MedStar said it treated two victims - both adult males in critical condition. By Monday night Fort Worth Police said one victim died at the hospital. The other man's condition is considered serious.

Police did not release identities or ages on the victims. They said the reason for the double shooting is not known at this time. Homicide detectives are working to find out who the murder suspect could be.
