Truck Brings "Random Snacks Of Kindness" To Dallas

DALLAS (CBS11) – It's called the Kindness Truck and it's rolling the streets of Dallas serving up "random snacks of kindness" in the community.
Ashlee Kleinert of the non-profit Executives in Action is the woman behind the idea of the food truck that feeds those who may need a little cheer.
Kleinert said their goal is to "just make a difference in someone's life for one day, for one act and let's call it Random Snacks of Kindness."
According to Kleinert, they do it every Tuesday, and on this Tuesday, they chose to feed wounded warriors at the Adaptive Training Foundation in Dallas. It's a fitness center that focuses on the rehabilitation of wounded veterans and other disabled people.
Blake Watson who lost a leg while on deployment in 2010 said, "They may think it's just chicken and dumplings but our guys they see this and it means a lot to them...they've never experienced anything like that. People showing up and wanting to give them things."
Kleinert says they'll be at it again next Tuesday at a still to be determined location.
