DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The FAA confirms three reports of lasers hitting planes Wednesday night.

All three planes were approaching Dallas Love Field between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

A SWA 737, a Virgin America A319 and a private business jet were hit by a laser coming from the same general vicinity, 11 miles southeast of Dallas.

The planes were at altitudes of between 3,000 and 4,000 feet.

No problems reported with the flights.  No one was hurt.

A Dallas Police helicopter launched to search where for the laser came from.

This is a developing story.
