Three People Rescued From Trinity River In Irving

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Fire and Rescue responded Sunday night to a water rescue at the Elm Fork of the Trinity River.

Irving Fire and Police units responded to the call as well.

According to a witness, a kayak with three people, an adult male and female and a child, overturned in the water after it got swept away.

Both units worked in conjunction with the Dallas Police Department's Air One.

According to Dallas Fire and Rescue, Air One was able to get the child out of the water while the Irving Fire Department rescued the two adults.

No one was taken to the hospital.
