Thousands Of Bees Safely Removed From Arlington Home

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) -More than 7,000 honey bees had called the eaves of an Arlington home on Winthorp Drive until Saturday.

A professional beekeeper came out and safely removed the bees and the hive.

He's relocating them to his farm in Frisco.

Steve Boyd of Boyd Custom Homes, Inc. says, "We do everything we can to protect the environment when we build new homes, so we wanted to do the same and safely remove the bees, since they are such an important part of nature."
