Storm Chances As We Start The Weekend

STORM CHANCES

An upper level disturbance moving thru Colorado will track across the Central Plains and be close enough to trigger scattered showers and storms tomorrow and Saturday.   Another low pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico will track toward Louisiana.  Not everyone will see storms over the next couple of days.  I expect coverage to be about 40%.  So some of us will go without.  While others will see some rain.

TONIGHT

A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight.  There have been storms in West Texas today and some of these will make it into western portions of North Texas later tonight.

(Radar from 5:45pm)

RAIN CHANCES TONIGHT

FRIDAY - there will be a few showers in the morning, but during the heating of the afternoon scattered storms will develop.

FRIDAY'S HOUR BY HOUR FORECAST

SATURDAY - more scattered showers and storms.  Favored area for rain will be areas east of the I-35 corridor.

SUNDAY - Partly sunny, warm and mainly dry.  I can't rule out an isolated storm in East Texas.

7-day Forecast
