The CBSDFW STORM TEAM BLOG: Better Shot at Rain Coming

It was a hot weekend and the start to the work week is no different.  Highs expected to be near 100° this afternoon with light wind and higher humidity.

Our big dome of high pressure will begin to weaken and move off to the east.  This will allow rich gulf moisture to surge northward into North Texas and bring us a chance of rain beginning Tuesday.

A weak cold front will approach by late week and will focus a better chance of rain for North Texas.

With the chance of rain returning, temperatures will come down a bit for the rest of the week.  If you happen to get underneath one of the showers or storms later this week, temps will be even cooler.
