Texas, Nationwide Retail Gasoline Prices Down This Week

COPPELL (AP) - Retail gasoline prices across Texas and nationwide have declined this week but still remain at $2 or more per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported statewide prices at the pump slipped 4 cents this week to settle at $2 per gallon. Nationwide gasoline prices are down 2 cents to reach an average $2.20 per gallon.

The association survey found that drivers in Amarillo have the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at an average $1.89 per gallon. Corpus Christi has the highest retail gasoline cost this week in

Texas at an average $2.05 per gallon.

AAA experts say the national average price for gasoline remains relatively flat compared to one week ago.
