Texas Gas Prices Up 2 Cents

IRVING (AP) - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 2 cents this week to reach $3.17 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported that compares to the nationwide price at the pump of $3.33 per gallon, which is down a penny since last week.

Drivers in Dallas and Fort Worth have the most expensive gasoline statewide at $3.23 per gallon. The association survey found Beaumont has the cheapest gasoline in Texas at an average $3.09 per gallon.

AAA experts say less demand, relatively lower crude prices and savings associated with producing winter-blend fuel will likely keep downward pressure on retail gasoline prices.
