IRVING (AP) - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have slipped 3 cents this week to settle at $1.84 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported that compares to the nationwide average of $2.04 per gallon, down 4 cents this week.

Corpus Christi has the most expensive gasoline in Texas at an average $1.87 per gallon. The travel group survey found Amarillo with the cheapest gasoline statewide, at $1.74 per gallon.

AAA analysts expect state and national retail gasoline prices to remain below $3 per gallon this year, barring major fluctuations in the global price of crude oil.
