Texas-Based Company Announces Plans For Office In Paragould

PARAGOULD, Ark. (AP) — A Texas-based broadband company has announced plans to open an office in Paragould and create about 30 jobs.

GW Communications of Coppell joined state and local officials in making the announcement Thursday.

The company plans to operate in an existing facility in Paragould.

The new jobs include computer-aided design and computer operation positions.

GW Communications' clients include AT&T, Verizon and Windstream. The company currently has offices in Kansas City, Kansas; Houston, Lubbock and Austin, Texas; San Jacinto, California, and Oklahoma City.
