KRLD -- Whether they are selling cars, cattle or grandma's china, it's almost hypnotic to hear a good auctioneer. They come from all over the world to North Texas to train for this new and fun career.
"We have folks who've been in careers for thirty years and decided 'you know what I'm tired of doing that, half of my life is over and the rest of my work life I'd like to do something else' said Mike Jones, owner of Texas Auction Academy. Mike opened Texas Auction Academy in 1992 and has trained some of the best and award winning auctioneers.
