Texans With Character: The Gabbert Family

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A free event to benefit Down Syndrome research is happening Sunday at Billy Bobs Texas.

For the first time ever the largest honky tonk in the world is hosting Rhett's Roadies.

Inspired by 5-year-old from Aledo born with Down Syndrome, Rhett's Roadies has raised more than $200,000 in the last five years.

Sunday's fundraiser will benefit The Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas, KinderFrogs at TCU and the The Fort Worth Dream Park.

In addition to a silent and live auction the music line-up will include performances by Austin Allsup, Steve Helms, Austin Meade, Jason Eady, Courtney Patton, Dalton Domino, Parker McCollum and more special guests.

There will be a silent auction beginning at noon and a live auction after the second set of music.

Doors open at noon.
