Missing Teenage Girl Found Safe In Parker County

UPDATE (1:15 p.m.): Montes has been found safe and unharmed, according to authorities.

SPRINGTOWN (CBSDFW.COM) -- Parker County Sheriff's investigators are seeking the public's help in finding a 17-year-old woman who disappeared last week in Springtown.

Authorities say Destiny Deana Montes walked away from her residence and was thought to be walking to school. The family received a phone call from the school before noon saying that Montes was absent.

She was last seen walking along eastbound Highway 199 in Springtown.

Montes is described as standing 5-foot-3 and 150 pounds with light brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a bright neon green Underarmour jacket and carrying a blue backpack.
