Teen Swimmer Drowns In Lake Lewisville

LITTLE ELM (CBSDFW.COM) - The body of a 17-year old boy who went missing after trying to swim approximately 30 yards between a boat ramp and swim beach in Lake Lewisville Friday, was found shortly after 9:00 p.m. Friday.

Dive teams and boats had been searching the area near the Little Elm boat ramp.

Game wardens and divers from the Lewisville Fire Department used sonar to locate the missing teen in Lake Lewisville.

Divers recovered him from the water.

The victim was identified Saturday as Theoldridge "Theo" Nash of Little Elm High School.

Coaches and students from Little Elm ISD, where Nash played football, showed up to offer support for his family.
