Teen Riding Bike Hit By Car In Southlake

UPDATE (TUESDAY APRIL 7, 2015)

The teen hit by a car in Southlake has died.

SOUTHLAKE, TX (CBSDFW.COM) - A smashed up windshield and a teenager hurt, Southlake police are piecing together an accident that happened Monday night.

Investigators say a white sports car was traveling northbound on Byron Nelson Parkway, when for an unknown reason, it slammed into a cyclist.

The impact shattered the car's window.

The cyclist, only identified as a 16-year-old boy, was airlifted to Harris Methodist Hospital with multiple injuries.
