Teen Dies After Being Shot In South Arlington

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW) - A teenager has died after a shooting in South Arlington.

Arlington Police say the incident began around 10:00 p.m. Sunday in South Arlington when three men in a car were approached by some unidentified men wanting to rob them.

At least one of the suspects opened fire, striking an 18-year-old passenger.

The victims fled and stopped near a house on Long Meadow Drive close to the Parks at Arlington where they called 911.

The teen was taken to the hospital but later died.

None of the other two people in the car was hurt.

The name of the dead teenager has not been released.
