Get started on that holiday shopping, ya'll. The Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth Saturday and Sunday November 7-8 is a free, pet-friendly handmade shopping extravaganza.

The Craft Guild of Dallas Fall Show and Sale is also this weekend…Thursday November 5 through Sunday November 8.

The Junior League of Collin County will host its 20th annual `Neath the Wreath Holiday Gift Market", November 5-8, 2015 at the Plano Centre in Plano, Texas.

There is a gun show this weekend…Saturday and Sunday Nov 7&8 in Mesquite. The Bigtown Show presented by Premier Gun Shows will be at the Big Town Event Center.

The 12 Days of Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum kicks off this Sunday November 8 and runs through January 3.

Also check out the Veterans Fair at Liberty Park Saturday November 7.The Veterans Fair will feature live music, games, military vehicles and the American Fallen Soldiers Art Gallery.

The City of Forney Veterans Day Ceremony is happening at Forney Community Park Saturday November 7.The ceremony will include veteran speakers, patriotic music, flag folding ceremony by the Forney Independent School District Air Force JROTC, and a special tribute to all veterans.

There will be a "Back the Badge Benefit" at Billy Bob's Texas Sunday November 8. Back the Badge began as a local movement to show support to law enforcement officers.  The event is free to the public and includes live music, demonstrations, a silent auction, and so on.

Festival at the Switchyard is happening in downtown Carrollton Saturday November 7 Featuring 3 Doors Down and Fastball. This event honors the critical role the railroad played in putting Carrollton on the map and keeping it there.

The Untapped Music and Beer Festival is Saturday November 7 at Fair Park. It began three years ago as two friends sharing a passion for craft beer and live music.
