The Dallas Arboretum's Cool Thursday's are back, tonight (March 31) features LeFreak.

Dr. Jane Goodall will speak tonight (March 31) as part of the Maverick Speaker Series at UTA's College Park Center. Dr. Goodall is one of the world's foremost experts on chimpanzees, best known for her more than five decades of scientific exploration on the behavior of wild chimpanzees.

At Cutting Edge Haunted House this weekend (April1-3) it is the Zombie Apocalyptic Army.

The Big Texas Beer Fest 2016 is set for this weekend (April 1-2) at the Auto Building at Fair Park.

The Jacksons and Commodore's 50th Anniversary Tour is at the Choctaw Casino tomorrow night (April 1).

The 22nd Annual Deep Ellum Arts Fest is this weekend (April 1-3). The free 3-day festival will include more than 200 decorative and visual artists.

You can never have too much fiber and this weekend is no exception. The DFW Fiber Fest at the Irving Convention Center this weekend (April 1-3) will feature all things fiber including teachers in the fiber arts - primarily in knitting, crochet, and spinning.

This weekend in Frisco, it is Arts in the Square (April 2-3).

The DFW Family Expo is at Dallas Market Hall this Saturday (April 2). This cool event raises money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

This Sunday April 3, The Septien Master Artist Program is having a cool contest where a lot of the new up and comin' young artists are competing. These are the kids you see on American Idol, Disney and Nickelodeon shows!  KRLD's JD Ryan will also be a "celeb" judge!

The 2016 Zoo Run at the Fort Worth Zoo is Saturday April 2. Run, walk or jog your way through the Zoo in support of the Zoo's conservation and education efforts.

The Farmers Branch Vintage Baseball Festival is Saturday April 2. Celebrate baseball as it was first invented in the 1860s.

The 59th Annual Mesquite Rodeo Parade is Saturday April 2. Horses, bands, and floats will wind through downtown Mesquite. The 2016 theme is Honoring Everyday Heroes.

WrestleMania 32 is Sunday April 3 at A&TT Stadium.

The Dog Bowl at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park is Sunday April 3 from 1p to 5p. Spoil your four-legged fur ball at this free event that transforms the Cotton Bowl into a super-sized dog park.

The Inaugural Frisco Crawfish Fest at Grover's Grill and Bar is Sunday April 3. Not only can you get some great crawfish…but you can also contribute to a great cause. Proceeds from this event will go to Habitat 4 Paws a no kill shelter.

Check out a movie at Movies on the Square in Carrolton tomorrow night (April 1st)…this week's movie is, fittingly, April Fool's Day. This 1986 horror movie features the chick that dated Nicholas Cage in the movie Valley Girl.

The North Texas Toy Show is Saturday April 2 at Valley View Center Mall. They'll have Hot Wheels, Action Figures, Comic Books, Collectible Toys, Transformers, Matchbox cars, Star Wars, Batman, Marvel Legends, DC Comics, Star Trek, Pop Vinyl, Sci-Fi, Horror toys, Trading Cards, Die cast cars, Happy Meal Toys, Vintage toys, all types of collectibles and much more!

This Saturday is opening day at the National Videogame Museum in Frisco. (Saturday April 2). You gotta check out this place where on any given day you can play the games of yesterday, today AND tomorrow.

The 6th Floor Museum is having CSI Family Day Sunday April 3. Visitors will investigate a mock crime scene (unrelated to the Kennedy Assassination), examine a police report about the incident and perform forensic analysis at evidence stations staffed by UNT Forensic Science students and staff, as well as volunteers from the Dallas Police Department.
