DALLAS (CBS11) - Jeremy Turner is the owner of the Ugly Christmas Sweater pop-up shop in Dallas.
After four successful seasons, the business owner said that he will open two more locations in Frisco and Fort Worth this year.
"We are still putting the finishing touches on everything right now. It's a lot of work," said Turner.
Before the Dallas store opened on Wednesday, Turner said employees were preoccupied with cleaning the store, steaming the sweaters and taking a large load of sweatshirts to the laundromat.
Brandy Brady works at Spin Cycle and said she was confused when she saw two men show up with hundreds of festive sweatshirts.
"I thought they were doing something for the holidays but I honestly didn't know what they were doing," said Brady.
Turner said all of the clothes had to be tagged and hung up on the racks before the grand opening.
They are trying something new this year and customers will have the option to buy or rent the sweaters during the season.
Turner said the Dallas location will be open on Wednesday and the Frisco location will open next Tuesday.
