CLEBURNE (CBSDFW.COM) - Another round of downpours is expected to hit Johnson County and the Swift Water Rescue team at fire station #2 in Cleburne is preparing for another night of rescues.

Firefighter Erik Hammons was one of the crew members called out for water rescues earlier in the day. He said the conditions were treacherous.

"Water is changing constantly if we're going to a swift water environment," said Hammons.

The team spent the evening hours during the calm of the storm prepping their gear and making sure they were prepared to go on stand by. They say with the secondary round of storms being predicted they're counting on being called again.

Hammons added, "It's a good possibility if their talking about the rain coming in like it did last night."

Officials with the county's office of emergency management say they are ready to re-establish their command post as soon as the conditions call for it.
