Suspected Peeping Tom Turns Himself In

DALLAS (CBS11) - The Planet Fitness peeper turned himself in to Dallas Police after our exclusive CBS 11 story.

29-year-old Michael Davis was charged with voyeurism, a Class C misdemeanor.

"If it's just going to be a fine, or a slap on the wrist, you know," said his victim, Diana. "I mean, that's not justice."

We brought you Diana's story last week after she said someone sneaked into the women's locker room while she was showing after a workout and tried to record her with a cell phone.

Diana said, when police told her about the arrest, they said Davis wrote her an apology letter.

"This is not something you do and just say, oh, I'm sorry," said Diana.

She said the letter mentioned Davis' time in the military, where he blamed PTSD for his actions.

"Almost like an excuse, or he wanted me to feel really bad for him and so, oh, you know, I shouldn't press charges because he's having marital issues and he served the country," said Diana. "Well that doesn't give you the right to violate the people you protect."

Diana also thinks Davis would have gotten away with the crime if he would not have stepped forward.

She was unable to identify him in a photo line-up after the incident.
