LEWISVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) -- Police are searching for a man believed to be involved in a string of assaults in Lewisville.

The latest assault occurred on Oct. 9 as a female was walking to her residence near SH 121 Business and Valley View Lane.

As she was crossing the Timber Creek Bridge near the Quik Trip, a man attacked her and dragged her underneath the bridge. The female victim struggled and yelled for assistance, drawing the attention of a pedestrian nearby. The suspect then fled on foot.

The witness flagged down a passerby, who contacted authorities. She was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.

Detectives believe the suspect could be linked to two additional offenses over the past 60 days. He is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years of age with a muscular build.

The victim helped police create a composite sketch.
