DALLAS (CBSDFW) - The National Guard demolished a suspected drug house near Dallas Love Field Thursday morning.

Operation Crackdown was first launched in 1993 and so far almost 1,200 so-called drug houses and buildings have been demolished in 24 cities, including Dallas.

This year, Operation Crackdown will tear down 30 abandoned structures in hard-hit Dallas neighborhoods.

Today, a drug house on Bombay Avenue west of Dallas Love Field and Knight Elementary School was torn down.
