Sun Shows for Winter

The Winter Solstice arrived at 5:03 today. We spent the last six days of Fall with below normal temperatures. The last five days it has stayed cloudy. For the first full day of winter? The sun finally returns and we have the warmest day in a week. Ironic I guess.

Here is your hour-by-hour as you make your Monday plans. Clouds will clear but return later in the day. We could see some light rain late in the evening or overnight:

A cold front arrives in the afternoon. The second day of winter is going to feel like a winter day. We'll have some rain around, the best chances for the Metroplex will be in the morning hours. This will be a light rain for the most part; not much to help with the hydrological drought:

Expect clouds and in the 50's with a brisk northwest wind that picks up that night. Wednesday we'll have a high barely in the 50's. A brisk south wind on Christmas day will warm us up into the 60's. Then another cold front and another shot of colder air:
