Thousands of North Texans without power after storms

NORTH TEXAS – Hundreds of Oncor customers are without power after storms moved through North Texas Wednesday morning.

As of 1:53 p.m. CT, 100 outages are affecting 1,564 customers.

Wise County is currently the most impacted area, with 619 customers without power. The latest estimated restoration time is 4 p.m.

In Dallas County, 371 customers remain without power, with the restoration time currently unknown.

In Collin County, 282 customers are affected. The latest estimated restoration time for the area is 7:30 p.m.

According to its website, Oncor is Texas' largest electric transmission and distribution company, providing electricity to more than 400 communities across 98 counties in North and Central Texas.
