State Fair Exhibit Opens At SMU

DALLAS (KRLD) - If you're impatient and just can't wait for the State Fair next week, SMU has some good news. Big Tex officially says, "Howdy" for the first time Friday September 30th, but running daily now through December, SMU is hosting an exhibit celebrating the 130 year history of the great State Fair.

"We have a large number of unbelievable pieces like badges and tickets and pennants and glassware and you name it...post cards related to the fair," said DeGolyer Library curator of Photographs at SMU says they also have the photos of Lynn Lennon who captured slice of life images from the fair from the mid 1980s into the 90s.
