Spring Rain Weekend

After a wet Friday morning expect a light rain across the afternoon. Cloudy skies will prevail as temperatures stay in the low 60's:

Rain chances diminish this evening but pick up again tomorrow afternoon and night. The heaviest rain will be south, that's where a Flash Flood Watch is in effect thru Sunday morning:

Flood Watches stretch over the southern half of Texas. The heaviest rain will be south of our area where 3"-4" could fall by Sunday:

Here is a string of FutureSky Forecast outlooks showing lots of rain in our first weekend of Spring. The heaviest rain tomorrow will likely be in the afternoon/evening. The rain should start to pull away to the east by Sunday mid-day. We might even see a glimpse of sunshine again Sunday afternoon:

 

 

We'll dry out on Monday and Tuesday as temperatures get to the 80's by Wednesday. Storms come in Wednesday night as a strong cold front sweeps through. Highs will be in the 60's at the end of the work week.
