DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Jamie Dixon has been named head coach of TCU's basketball team.
BREAKING: TCU has hired Pitt's Jamie Dixon as its next head basketball coach, sources told @CBSSports.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Dixon will return to his alma mater after being the head coach at the University of Pittsburgh for the last 13 seasons.
Dixon compiled a record of 325-119 since being named head coach in 2003. He lead the Pitt Panthers to 11 NCAA tournament appearances during his time at the helm.
Dixon was a member of TCU's basketball team from 1984-1987.
