Some Fall Weather Ahead. But First...

A week from now we'll finally be cooling down from this stretch of heat. Nice to think of some 80 degree weather and a wet ground again but before we get there it's going to get a little hotter first...

Tomorrow morning clouds will clear, it'll be muggy again with highs in the upper 90's. A few showers will likely pop-up again in this humid air:

The heat index tomorrow and Labor Day will creep toward 105° by afternoon. Keep this in mind if you plan to enjoy the last weekend of summer (unofficially) by a pool or lake:

But finally a shift in the weather pattern brings some welcomed cooler weather. A front should be here by Thursday with the best rain chance on Friday:

We've had only three days of rain since we got into July. The last time we've had highs in the 80's for three days in a row was back during the May rains. A welcomed sight in the 7-day forecast!
