Small Aircraft Crashes With 2 People Aboard In Mineral Wells

MINERAL WELLS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A small aircraft with two people aboard crashed near Mineral Wells Regional Airport at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, July 23.

The plane took off from Weatherford and was airborne only 21 minutes.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating.

CBS 11 News has reached out for comment on the condition of the pilot or passenger but has yet to hear back.
