Sixth Victim Found Dead From Palestine Flooding

PALESTINE (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Palestine confirm a sixth fatality Saturday from the Friday night flash flooding.

Police say Giovani Olivas, 30, was swept under flood waters around Anderson County Road 370.

Olivas' body was found around 5:30 p.m. Saturday according to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor.

A woman and her four great-grandchildren also died when floodwaters breached their home in Palestine Friday night.
