Shooting in Victory Park leaves woman in critical condition, Dallas police say
A woman is in critical condition after a shooting in Victory Park on Sunday afternoon, Dallas police said.
Just before 12:30 p.m., police were called to a shooting in the 3000 block of Nowitzki Way.
Dallas PD said a woman was shot by a known suspect. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Dallas PD said 18-year-old Roy Mendoza was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force in connection to the shooting on Monday.
Mendoza is being charged with aggravated assault family violence with weapon.
