Seven Cars Burglarized In 24 Hours In Greenville

GREENVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) -  The targets don't get much easier than this.  Unlocked cars.

Greenville Police say early Thursday morning they got a call about a car burglary on Highmeadow Street.

When officers they got there they found two suspects in the area. These officers arrested one man and one juvenile, both of whom have been charged with burglary of a vehicle.

Officers were able to recover several pieces of property, which are in the process of being returned to the owners.

Police say in the past 24 hours, seven vehicles are known to have been burglarized on Highmeadow St., Bonham St., Canton St., Greenbriar St., and Pepperport St.

They say the suspects had the opportunity to commit these crimes because all the burglarized vehicles had been left unlocked.
