DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police are looking for a man they say stole a ring from the Sears store at the Southwest Center Mall.

It happened on November 19, 2015 around 11:30 a.m. according to police.

They say the suspect asked to see a ring in the display so the sales associate pulled out the ring and gave it to the suspect.

When the sales associate looked away, the suspect put the ring in his pocket and gave the associate a fake ring in its place.

The suspect then walked out the door.

The suspect's description is vague.  Police say he's 6'0 to 6'2  in his early to mid 20's.

Detectives from the Dallas Police Southwest Investigative Unit are asking for the public's help in identifying this suspect.
