Search ends for 2 inmates who escaped from Fannin County Jail

BONHAM (CBS News Texas) – Law enforcement has ended the search for Raymond Ross and Raymond Perez, who escaped from the Fannin County Jail on Nov. 25. 

FCSO says Perez and Ross were seen fleeing the Fannin County Jail in Bonham just after 9 p.m. on Nov. 25. 

Perez turned himself into the Bryan County Sheriff's Office around 12 p.m. on Nov. 29. Officials say he spoke to an investigator and complied with requests of the investigator. 

Around 5 p.m. Nov. 29, Ross was taken into custody at the Texoma Housing Authority Complex in Bonham. Officials say he was found under a bad in the apartment. He could face additional charges due to this incident. 

Ross was initially in custody for evading arrest with a motor vehicle, drug possession and a felon in possession of a firearm, FCSO said. Perez was in custody on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
