Samsung Electronics is now going to send fire-resistant packaging to its customers in the U.S. as a precaution against possible fires or explosions from Galaxy Note 7s as they return to retailers.

Samsung also says it is offering prepaid shipping boxes as an option for U.S. owners of the phones, which could catch fire.

The company has recalled all the phones and has stopped making them. They are asking consumers with an original Galaxy Note7 or a replacement Galaxy Note7 to power it down and contact the carrier or retail outlet where the Galaxy Note 7 was purchased.

Samsung estimates it is facing a $2.3 billion loss over the Galaxy Note 7 troubles.
