The Greatest Show on Earth has hired a woman to be the next ringmaster for the Ringling Bros. Circus XTREME. Her name is Kristen Michelle Wilson and and she replaces David Shipman as he retires from the circus.
Wilson's first show will be in her hometown of Orlando, Florida on January 12. She beat out hundreds of other people in auditions here in Dallas and four other cities.
Wilson is also the lead singer of a band called the Sonic Gypsies. Talking about her powerful voice and great personality Ringling Bros. producer Alana Feld said, "We knew immediately that she would be able to connect with the audience and bring them along on the Circus XTREME adventure."
Wilson will be the 39th ringmaster in Ringling Bros. history.
