Retail Gasoline Prices In Texas, Nationwide Down This Week

COPPELL (AP) — Retail gasoline prices in Texas have slipped 3 cents this week to settle at an average $2 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported nationwide prices at the pump declined a nickel this week to reach an average $2.14 per gallon.

Amarillo has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at $1.85 per gallon. The association survey found that drivers in El Paso have the most expensive gasoline statewide at an average $2.12 per gallon.

AAA officials cited abundant U.S. fuel supplies and declining crude oil costs as gasoline prices continue to drop.
