Restaurant Hands Out Instruction Cards To Parents

HOUSTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A Texas restaurant is handing out rules to parents and children when they walk through the door.

Pulling on tradition from restaurants in Mexico, "Cucara" has started handing out post cards that ask kids not to wander around the restaurant, not to touch the art or anything belonging to other patrons.

The restaurant decided to hand out the cards six months ago, after a child scratched the walls with a quarter causing more than 15-hundred dollars in damage.

"How do we stop that kind of thing. We're busy serving and cleaning and moving around and we cannot babysit a child," said Ana Beaven, the restaurant's owner.

People in the restaurant had mixed opinions about the cards. What's your opinion? Let us know on the CBSDFW Facebook page.
