FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — Reality show stars are putting their muscles to the test to raise money to benefit children with life-threatening illnesses this weekend.
Mike Holloway, winner of "Survivor," Danielle Murphree, who was on "Big Brother," and Jeremiah Wood, also from "Survivor," are among a group of CBS reality show stars who are participating in Training Division's Fired Up II, a charity firefighting competition. The proceeds go to Give Kids The World, a resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that gives free one-week vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Training Division, an emergency services training company, organized boot camp.
The competition includes putting out fires, extracting a survivor from a car and completing an obstacle course while dressed in firefighting clothing and equipment. A total of 10 reality stars were scheduled to participate.
