Rain Chances Tonight and Tuesday

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight and thru the day on Tuesday across North Texas.  A few storms could produce gusty winds.  But the main concern will be brief heavy downpours and lightning.  Here is a look at the coverage map.

There is an upper level low that will meander for the next 24 hours to our southwest before eventually washing out.  That is what is responsible for rain chances.

After tomorrow, the rest of the week will be hot and dry.
