QUINLAN (CBSDFW.COM) - A Quinlan ISD employee was arrested Tuesday, February 2 for allegedly having sexual relations with a child.

Jessie J. Rowan, 42, a facilities employee and bus driver for the district, was arrested in Hunt County for an outstanding warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The warrant obtained by the Hunt County Sheriff's Department alleges that Rowan engaged in sexual conduct with a juvenile girl relative who is also a Quinlan ISD student.

Rowan is currently incarcerated in the Hunt County Jail on the charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Bond has been set at $100,000.

The Sheriff's Department says the alleged crime was not associated with Rowan's job as a school bus driver.
