Giant Python Found In DeSoto

DeSOTO, Texas (CBS11) - A massive find this week for DeSoto Animal Control.

Officers found a giant, yellow Burmese python near I-35E and Pleasant Run Road.

The snake was already dead.

The python is not venomous and  is generally docile but when they get ahold of their pray, they coil around and squeeze it to death.

It's not yet known how the snake ended up where it did.
