CARROLLTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A North Texas woman is suing Waffle House, saying she was discriminated against and fired for being pregnant.

Tabitha Handy, a former manager-in-training at a Carrollton Waffle House said her supervisor reacted negatively to the news Handy was expecting. Her supervisor asked, "Don't you already have three kids?"

Handy said her supervisor also remarked that pregnant women are usually pretty slow. Shortly after the disparaging comments, Handy said managers started treating her unfairly, then gave her a bad evaluation and fired her.

Waffle House has not commented to CBS 11 News about the lawsuit.
