ARLINGTON (CBS 11 NEWS) - Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott tells us in an exclusive interview she has a lot to be thankful for.

The singer was on her tour bus when a wheel blew out, catching the back of the bus on fire on Interstate-30 in Garland. The driver managed to pull over and everyone escaped unharmed.

Friday, Scott was back with the band for rehearsals at AT&T Stadium.

In an interview the Nashville-native said she's especially thankful for who did not make the trip with her. "I'm very thankful that everybody, including the firemen and all the policemen and first responders, nobody was injured and everything is good," Scott said. "I was really thankful that my little girl wasn't with us. Because that would've been a lot more dramatic and traumatic."

Scott joked that the fire "gives a new meaning to coming in hot."

Keep a close eye on the band's performance Sunday night. We're hearing they may include video of the fire in their show.
